Workshop: The Art of Mixed Media

Saturday, March 10, 2012 / 1-4 p.m.
Saturday, March 17, 2012 / 1-3 p.m.

This two-session workshop will explore the use of different materials to create dimension by building up the surface and moving from a two dimensional format into a low relief sculptural density.  Paint, plaster, gesso, fabric, twigs, small found objects, and anything you might bring will be used.  We will make finished sculpture, story boxes and more.

All supplies will be provided, but participants may bring small items of personal interest, a paint brush, a flexible spatula, acrylic paint and an apron.
